UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDAY-1. 

The most awaited UEFA Champions League has kicked off in fashion, with every team giving their all to compete for the most prestigious trophy in club football. Let us briefly see the highlights of the matches in the first matchday.

GROUP A :

(BAYERN, COPENHAGEN, GALATASARAY, MAN UTD.)

1. BAYERN 4 - 3 MANCHESTER UNITED 

Goals from Sane, Gnabry , Kane and Tel from the winning side and one goal from Hojlund and a brace of Casemiro for the unfortunate side. 

2. GALATASARAY 2 - 2 COPENHAGEN

Goals from Boey and Tete of Galatasaray and Mohamed and Diego of Copenhagen . E.Jelert of Copenhagen with a red card at the 73rd minute.

GROUP B :

(ARSENAL, LENS, SEVILLA, PSV)

1. ARSENAL 4 - 0 PSV

4 Goals for a very strong side of Arsenal by Saka, Trossard, Jesus and a clinical finish from Odegaard.

2. SEVILLA 1 - 1 LENS

Disappointing draw for the UEL champions but they could not break through. Goals by Ocampos for Sevilla and Fulgini for Lens.

GROUP C :

(NAPOLI, REAL MADRID, BRAGA, UNION BERLIN)

1. REAL MADRID 1 - 0 UNION BERLIN

The man in his moment effortlessly scores yet another goal in the dying moments of the game to win them the match. Ladies and Gentlemen, JUDE BELLINGHAM!!

2. BRAGA 1 - 2 NAPOLI

The reigning Serie A champions somehow score a late winning goal. Goals by Bruma for Braga. DiLorenzo and Niakate shows up for Napoli

GROUP D :

(RB SALZBURG, INTER, SOCIEDAD, BENFICA)

1. BENFICA 0 - 2 RB SALZBURG

Early red card for Antonio Silva. RB Salzburg with two goals from Roko Simic penalty and Oscar Gloukh

2. REAL SOCIEDAD 1 - 1 INTER

LaReal and Inter settle for a point apiece. Goals from Brais Mendez for La Real and Lautaro Martinez for Inter.

GROUP E:

(FEYENOORD, ATLETICO, LAZIO, CELTIC)

1. LAZIO 1 - 1 ATLETICO MADRID

Absolute madness Provedel snatch a point in the last second.

2. FEYENOORD 2 - 0 CELTIC

Two Goals for Feyenoord by Calvin Stengs and Jahanbakhsh and two red cards for Celtic from Gustaf and Odin Thiago Holm.

GROUP F :

(PSG, NEWCASTLE, MILAN, DORTMUND)

1. MILAN 0 - 0 NEWCASTLE

A disappointing draw between two teams which performed very good the entire last season. 

2. PSG 2 - 0 DORTMUND

Mbappe just couldn't help himself but score and Hakimi with the other. PSG under Enrique are looking strong.

GROUP G :

(RB LEIPZIG, MAN CITY, CRVENA, YOUNG BOYS)

1. YOUNG BOYS 1 - 3 RB LEIPZIG

Goals from Simakan , Schlagar and Sesko from the winning side and one goal from Meschak Elia for Young Boys

2. MAN CITY 3 - 1 CRVENA ZVEZDA

A brace from Felix, one goal each for Lewandowski and Gavi and an own goal from the losing side.

2. SHAKHTAR 1 - 3 PORTO

A brace from Galeno and goal for Tareni of Porto and a goal from Kevin of Shakhtar.
